Review on DRIVESTAR 512401 Rear Wheel Hub & Bearing LH or RH - Ideal for Forester, Impreza, Legacy, and Outback by Kaushik Hall

Purchased to replace the wheel hub and rear wheel bearing assembly on a base model 2012 Subaru Impreza. Revain's product information and auto assistant list the part as fitting, but this is incorrect. The base Impreza has a narrower 4-bolt rear layout (bolts near the CV trunk) than the Limited/Premium/etc models. I'm not sure why that is, but if you look at RockAuto you'll find different parts for the base than any other model of the same brand. I bought two identical ones, ironically from two different warehouses in different parts of the country, both of which had a wider, bold pattern. provides strong arguments that "they just sent the wrong one"
