Review on BFGoodrich g-Grip 195/65 R15 91H summer by Dana Elysa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

For added intrigue, I placed the winter Goodyear alongside the new Goodrich and sent ContiPremiumKontakt2 to a well-deserved rest.

Pros
  • Nice directional pattern with a main track; attractive appearance. Additionally, I appreciate the way the car's tires are set up. The ContiPremium 2 hasn't yet shown any movement flaws when compared to the previous summer models; they hold the road just as cleanly and roll willingly. Sharp rails and bumps are softer and "rounder". Consumption was 0.3 l/100 km lower than in the winter. They row on a primer that has grown muddy in the rain, much like on dry land, and recently there had the chance to test it off-road. The tires act as a pump, pumping water sideways through the drainage channels in deep puddles on asphalt. The tread is excellent overall; it performs well in all circumstances and offers strong run-out and directional stability.
Cons
  • Noisy but not critical, similar to Kontiki 2. However, customers claim in the reviews that the noise would decrease after entering. In my perspective, the pricing is also a little expensive. Not because the tires are subpar, but rather because Goodyear is still a better option financially. But this is a price to pay for certain exclusivity and Michelin-level excellence. Additionally, it was somewhat concerning that of the five tires bought, two needed balancing more than the other three.
