later I've been using Meguiar Ultimate Quik Wax (also available as Meguiar's D15601 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax) for a long time. It's synthetic sealant and I will do it. This was by far the most durable and easy to use aerosol sealant I could find. I sprayed paint, windows, moldings, etc. during and/or after the drying process. I had a really hard time finding a good comparison between these products and the newer Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax. Here's my opinion. In terms of ease of use, I still prefer Ultimate Quik Wax. It leaves no residue unless you apply it too firmly. I also found that it works almost like a waterless cleaner - for example, if you missed a stain during the washing process, Ultimate Quik Wax seems to help remove that dirt as you apply it. It leaves a beautiful finish and a surprisingly comfortable wet look that rivals many traditional waxes. In comparison, the new Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax is a bit thicker (be sure to shake the bottle frequently). It doesn't seem to do anything if you miss a stain when washing, so you really need to make sure you get the car perfectly clean beforehand. What I love about Hybrid Ceramic Wax is that it lasts longer and leaves the color even smoother than Ultimate Quik Wax. Other reviews suggest this is the longest lasting spray wax. It requires more effort than Ultimate Quik Wax in terms of removal/polishing. I don't have a full day to polish the car lest the end product look as "demonstrative" as it does when using Ultimate Quik Wax. I still have a few strips of ceramic wax around some of the windows and cracks. BUT the reason I'll stick with the hybrid ceramic spray is because I'm parked outside by an apartment building with a bunch of trees overhead (and birds constantly). droppings and leaves). I don't use this product so much for the aesthetics of the perfect car as for long-term protection of the paint (and value of the car). I wash my car by hand, but at most once every 2 weeks. i am an adult I'm busy. If like me you have to park outside, I recommend the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax. If you have time to wash your car more often, or park in your garage β or just want the ultimate in ease of use β I'd recommend Ultimate Quik Wax instead. Both are definitely very good products. A lot of people never polish or protect their cars and these products are SO easy and quick compared to old school waxes. so try them out!
