I was pleasantly surprised when I received the package. For the price I was expecting something very light. Not correct. They have the weight of something much more expensive. The workmanship is good, not the best professional device, but the joints move smoothly and everything is tight. The base is strong and wide enough. The stands easily fit my Alien Bees, one with a 51" parabolic reflector and diffuser cloth on the front and the other with a 30x60" softbox. The included carry case feels well made and has room for extra umbrellas and any gear you use. to attach to stands. This is a great starter set of studio stands that will last a long time with proper care.
