But then he began to slow down a lot, everything began to work terribly slowly. I decided to check again in Victoria HDD, it turned out that bad sectors appeared. There were more and more of them, and they appeared faster and faster. As a result, the hard drive died, having lived a few days less before it would have gone 3 months from the moment it was first started. It was no longer possible to save him. Bad sectors are scattered throughout the hard drive, there are a lot of them. I highly do not recommend buying any hard drives from Seagate, as they do not know how to make them. They have terrible quality and a huge number of marriages compared to other firms that produce hard drives, which is why in America they even want to sue Seagate. I opted for a WD Black 500gb hard drive, a good hard drive. Wd and its subsidiary Hitachi produce good, high-quality hard drives, they do not break down as often and quickly as Seagate does, that is, they have less marriage. But again, not a single company is immune from marriage, just one company makes its product in good faith, better than another. In any case, the marriage can be exchanged under a guarantee, if this is of course possible. I don’t know about Toshiba, but there are also dubious models there. Now, in principle, I do not want to buy any hard drives from other companies, except for Wd and Hitachi. Among the companies producing ssd (the so-called solid state drives, much more advanced than hdd (hard drives)), I can name Kingston and Samsung as good ones. Also, of course, you should not buy cheap hard drives, especially used ones and without a guarantee, especially from this company. It's better to overpay a little and buy a good hard drive, and regret your nerves, and those little money that is now given away for nothing.
