Convert the shoulder straps into a crotch strap

This is great buoyancy but there is a problem with the lack of a crotch strap. I've tried several options and here's the best I can think of. Completely remove the shoulder straps through the two holes in the front of the float; they do nothing and do not increase security. To do this, you need to remove the plastic latches. Turn the strap into a crotch strap: look at the two parts of the clasp. One part has one hole and the other part has two holes. Thread the strap back through the single slot portion of the clip. Pull the ends of the strap so they are the same length. Attach the other part of the clasp to the free ends of the double strap. Pass the strap through the child's crotch and thread part of the clasp behind the clip that holds the wings together; Place the other part of the clasp in front of the clip. Connect the two parts of the clasp together and tighten the strap.
