My 92ft Nighthawk 750 has progressive springs and I needed a heavier oil to increase damping combined with a higher spring rate. This fork oil helped and appears to be of very high quality. This oil is clear so it's easier to see how dirty it is and probably contains additives specifically designed for forks. I used to use ATF, which is about 10w oil, but I feel better about making oil specifically for fork use, although I doubt there's a noticeable difference.
