Review on 🎧 Discover Crystal-Clear Sound with Yamaha YH-E700A Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones by Ivan Carson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent sound quality, disappointing everything else

Right off the bat I don't think I can recommend it for its price. There are many headphones that cost less like the WH-1000XM3/XM4, Bose QC35 II and Jabra 85H. Neither of them have the sound quality of the YH-E700A, but they're better in every other way. I'll summarize the main points of these headphones: Sound quality: - This is one of the best I've heard from ANC headphones. Not only is this high fidelity, but excellent visualization and a decent soundstage. You can tell exactly where each instrument is in a well-mixed song. Unfortunately, she is (in my opinion) in a terrible mood. Extremely V-shaped, it attacks you with commanding bass and sometimes painful highs. The bass is very well controlled and sounds perfect, there's just too much of it, even compared to the usual bass-boosted consumer sound profile. This probably wouldn't be an issue if Yamaha included an EQ in their app, like most other headphones at this price point, but if you want the V-shape to be less of an attack on you, you'll need to adjust the EQ on each of your headphones. . devices disconnected. Active Noise Cancellation: - It works, but I'm generally disappointed with it. I've heard better active noise canceling headphones for a quarter of the price of these. There's a nice amount of white noise in the background, which seems to shift like you've opened a window in your room on a windy day, but it mostly disappears when you play any type of music. I wouldn't deduct a star just for that because it works, but it's definitely not impressive. Convenience: - They are big, heavy and bulky. I suppose they are as comfortable as can be given their size and weight, but then again they are not very comfortable and I choose other headphones instead of them all the time. If you like almost overwhelming bass, don't need the best ANC, and haven't had any issues with uncomfortable headphones in the past, then these could definitely be for you. The battery life is great and the sound quality, minus the setting, is some of the best I've heard from a Bluetooth headphone. Unfortunately, the bulkiness and bass prevented me from using them over my other headphones. I would give them 3 stars but the bass can be subjective and otherwise the sound quality is really great.

The soundstage is spacious but it also drowned the vocal away.
