My wife gave me a pair of these sneakers and they have become my favorite shoe for working in the garden. Insanely comfortable, easy to clean with a cleaning hose, great ventilation on hot southern days. They stayed outside so I could put them on when the next impromptu chore came up. I had them for over a year, I wore them all the time when they were on duty in the yard every weekend. Lately, as I put the shoes on each week, I noticed that it was getting harder and harder to slide them over my feet. Finally, I put my feet in the sock to put them on. I was concerned that water was remaining in my legs, perhaps a sign of heart problems. Turns out I just needed a new pair. Shoes that are left outside day after day slowly shrink. My old and new shoes side by side show that the old ones easily get a size smaller than they were originally, maybe two sizes. New shoes, on the other hand, are roomy and comfortable. [In the attached photo of the boot, left is the 'old' boot, right is the boot just delivered and both are size 11]. The story is, take care of your Crocs, don't leave them outside all day. Otherwise, they might start clinging to you.
