I use a reverse osmosis system to supply water to several offices in a church. I fill 5 gallon bottles and distribute them to various water dispensers around campus. My biggest hurdle in the process was the time it took to fill each bottle, after which recovery kept me from filling another bottle for several hours. I just installed this pump and waited for the pump to stop working and filling a bottle and was able to fill a second bottle almost immediately after the first. I have a 13 gallon pressure tank so I have to water while sitting in the tank, the problem was I was just trying to pump the water out. No longer! I think I should be in pretty good shape with this pump. The installation was very easy, I was very lucky that the 120v socket was within reach of the transformer cable, the cable is quite long. I would recommend this to anyone who has a reverse osmosis system with 3/8 inch pipe. I'm sure a 1/4 inch peristaltic pump would work just fine for a home reverse osmosis system. Actually I will buy one for my home system.
