Review on Penny Black Hollyhocks Decorative Stamp by Doris Tran

This stamp has become a new favorite. Penny Black's attention to detail in this mallow rendering couldn't be better. I printed it with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and then colored it with colored pencil, watercolor pencil and colored pencils. It has proven great in any setting. This is a large design perfect for postcards, bookmarks etc. It is deeply engraved and all the details are clearly visible. I started by suggesting The Frugal Crafter leave the stamp on the paper for about 5 seconds to allow the ink to transfer properly. It makes a world of difference for most of the pictures I stamp, and even more so with this new stamp. There is a video of Humble Craftswoman on Youtube and she is just plain fun but also a great teacher. Look at her. But be sure to buy and use this awesome print!
