I would also recommend this stocking to a beginner
I have made many Bucilla stockings for my grandchildren. This is probably the easiest thing I've ever made and it's very cute. But embroidering scarves is challenging and I am not happy with my results. Just a hint, start with all greens first, then blues, then whites. And make very small stitches. I would also recommend this for a beginner. The rest of the stocking is a snap!
