I bought this modem more than a year and a half ago, everything seemed fine. And then I started noticing some issues and I was having constant crashes, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. And then it seemed to get better. My speeds were fine and I didn't have any major connection issues. Fast forward to last month and let me tell you it's been nothing short of a nightmare. Departures are insanely frequent. I struggle to stay connected for 20 minutes most days. I really can't figure out why. That's when I discovered that ASUS shipped a two-tiered product with a bad chipset that they no longer support. At the moment the drivers are so far behind that it doesn't even make sense to leave the damn thing. And to top it off, customer support basically gave me the equivalent of a shrug and "got your money, not our problem". I have many ASUS products, but my experience this time made me reconsider the purchase. Spring. you live and learn.
