My first circulator was an Anova BT what a waste! I only used when I needed to have 2 at a time; The 2nd was Wireless Anova, better but still meeh. Didn't want Joule because I wanted manual tuning as an option. I've seen some great flashbacks to the history of "INKBIRD" in different but related technologies and seen some do-it-yourself sous vide setups using INKBIRD components before they did it. Of course, this company's history led to the creation of a great circulator pump, and when they did, wow! So easy to use, by hand or over the phone, perfectly calibrated, heats up quickly, can last 99 hours when most are stressed after 48-50 and I would never use others for 2 batches of bacon in a row. Did I mention reasonable priced recipes? I never checked them out, I would go to Sous Vide Dummies on FB if I need more info than I have. Time and temperature information abounds on the web, superior workmanship and engineering is hard to find. INKBIRD wins unconditionally in this area. There is a small design flaw that affects smaller individuals. It can be difficult to read the screen, Inkbird might well consider making the screen a bit sharper. for visibility. I plan to get another one though, if I lose more I'll put a stool in it. ;-) In general, this is the Grand Champion!
