This handy little device was exactly what I was looking for; a simple, almost invisible device to hold my phone because I don't have GPS or a phone system in my vintage SAAB. I really enjoyed installing it in my car. Unfortunately I didn't look at my vents before buying, I mean a vent is a vent right? Unfortunately not in my case. SAAB uses small squares to cover the vents, so I couldn't use this unit. I assume this will actually fit most vehicles, but it's definitely worth checking out. The device is solid and perfect for my needs. It's definitely well designed and will do what you need. I have an iphone 11 pro max. The magnet won't stick to it, but that's not a problem as it comes with two slim metal discs with a double grip that you can use to attach the disc to the back of the phone. Once you do this, the magnet will hold the phone. I didn't care about the plate attack, but my friend HATED the idea. So if the back of your phone isn't metal and you don't want to put a round disc on top of your phone to make it stick to your device, this system isn't for you.
