I have used this mount in a rental when traveling and am so glad I got it - it works great, small enough to easily fit in a backpack and probably the best feature of all - it allows for DOWN hanging - unlike other mounts of this type which place a magnet in the middle. This helps NOT to block the vent itself, which is my biggest issue with these types of mounts. In general there are no problems with it - bravo to the design!

This little device easily attaches to the air conditioner vent in your car. I have a phone case that is magnetic on the back and connects nice and firmly to this clip. The clip has a swivel/adjustable hinge that attaches a magnet to allow you to adjust the angle. I just turn those vents off when I have the heat on so it doesn't get too hot, but this location gives me the perfect line of sight without taking my eyes off the road to use the GPS.
