The first night I was disappointed. I didn't see it glow in the dark. I thought I spent too much money to keep it from glowing. But I put my review on hold because it just came out of the box, and if you've ever looked into glow-in-the-dark items then you know that sometimes they need a little exposure to the light first. So today I took it to a dark room to test it and it does indeed glow. Only the side my daughter slept on lights up because that was the only side facing up and exposed to the light. So if your pillowcase doesn't glow, put it in a lighted place during the day and it will glow at night. I received a Jojo Siwa set for my daughter so this is all I can comment on. But I recommend everyone to try the simple first method. Open the curtains and let the sunlight shine through them perfectly. I am attaching a photo of how it glows. But only one side, since the other has not yet been exposed. You may need to zoom in. My camera isn't the best. I would recommend this item. I am happy with my purchase.
