Mostly worse than useless

I was trying to use this to show desktop art and maps for the Zoom D&D campaign. I don't understand how a camcorder sold in 2020 can be so bad. The refresh rate is incredibly slow - if you move something, it takes a good 15 seconds or more for the image on the screen to change. Video quality is terrible - grainy, low contrast, terrible detail. The image is upside down from the expected camera orientation.

Pros

The scanning software has to be installed from a tiny CD. It only works on Windows system, not compatible with Mac, Chromebook. You can also install the software by downloading it from Longjoy website.
