Saved my leather sofa. It actually works better if you use the cleaner first.

I let the sun pill the surface of part of my 20 year old leather couch and I thought I ruined it ten years ago. It was bad, more the underside of a brush than a leather couch. I've been using this protector on my sofa for about ten years now and the sofa is still handsome and although I keep a layer of this leather trim on it the sofa looks like it will last another ten years, 1/3 the sofa I have make it go bad. It has almost stopped the wear and I feel if I had used the finish/protection for the first ten years the sofa would now look almost new. wood finish This is a relatively clean interface. The surface diffuses the sunlight and prevents it from doing as much damage as wooden floors or furniture. It acts as a partial barrier against sunlight, binds the leather's "grains" to prevent dust and spatter from getting in between, and has some ability to reduce scratches. Basically, it stops the way sunlight breaks down organic matter, in this case former live cowhide. You would think that just rebuilding it over and over again without using a cleaner in problem areas would work better, but I found that using a cleaner that is sold separately works better. In my experience, two products used separately also work better for the damaged area than an all-in-one product that cleans and protects both. The undamaged part of my sofa only needs to be treated/sealed once. Feel free to stack it. on the damaged part after cleaning the damaged part. I found three or more applications on the damaged part of the couch useful, with some drying time in between, and more or less right after cleaning I made an overgrown surface like wood, which not only made it look a heck of a lot better, but protected it longer. An undamaged section of a sofa can last over a month, and a badly damaged section I would hammer about every three weeks to keep the fuzzy leather ends from sun exposure to the skin. expose themselves.
