Review on Disposable Cold Brew Coffee Filters by David Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best filters for cold brewing!

First of all I NEVER write product reviews but I am very happy with these filters and really felt the need to write a review about them. the felt pads that came with the pot, the Toddy brand paper filters and finally these filter bags. I was initially hesitant to buy them and planned on just buying more toddy paper filters, but I found them convenient and worth a try. My cold brew recipe is 12 ounces of coarse ground coffee with 8 cups of water brewed for 24 hours to get the concentrate for a week. in a pot. That's all. At first it appeared that the bag was sticking out of the water and not being fully absorbed by the brew. So I figured it wouldn't be as strong a drink as the other methods. I was dead wrong - it turns out that one should never underestimate nature's ability to achieve balance. The result of these filters was the purest, least bitter and most intense coffee I've ever made, with no buildup in the end product. It wasn't an accident, it happens every time I do it now. Bottom line, these filters make the best coffee and have an easy brewing process. I don't know why these filters work so much better, nor do I care. From now on these are the only filters I will buy to make a cold drink. And you should too!
