Fast and efficient replacement of water filters in glasses

I've been making cold coffee for a long time. The previous system I used was a metal strainer that fitted in a half gallon can. It was good but took longer to make the brew. Since the coffee grounds remain exposed in the filter, you cannot quickly add water. You must wait for the water to seep out before you can water more. Therefore, it takes a long time before you can fill the glass. With this style of bag filter, all I have to do is grind the coffee beans, put the soil in the bag, tie it…

The best solution for easy cold brewing

I'm so glad I found them as they are the easiest way to make delicious cold coffee. No messy bases to deal with and no worries of them going down the drain and potentially clogging my pipes. A key tip I've found is to pour water over the coffee before closing and tying the lid. I pour the water directly onto the grist in the filter to completely soak the grist. I've found this gives the best flavor. Simply submerging the pouch in water will take much longer to fully saturate the coffee, and the

The best filters for cold brewing!

First of all I NEVER write product reviews but I am very happy with these filters and really felt the need to write a review about them. the felt pads that came with the pot, the Toddy brand paper filters and finally these filter bags. I was initially hesitant to buy them and planned on just buying more toddy paper filters, but I found them convenient and worth a try. My cold brew recipe is 12 ounces of coarse ground coffee with 8 cups of water brewed for 24 hours to get the concentrate for a…

No mess, no fuss. for kitchen and bathroom appliances

As an iced coffee lover, I have used various systems to make coffee grounds, then put them in water, cool and wait for the magic. occur. I've used the French press method, various metal or mesh filters in glass containers, and various coffee grinding methods. As I was preparing for a long trip and desperately trying to find a system to take with me on the go, I came across these cloth filters. I wouldn't need to carry a coffee grinder or filter to clean. All I had to do was fill coffee bags…

Honest Review - Pros and Cons

I bought these filters just because I wanted to try them, paid full price and didn't get any reward for the review. I took the time to write this review because I initially wanted to use these filters multiple times. I used to use a brand that came with a popular cold brew system but they were expensive and these are more affordable. I bought a medium size so I used a 2 liter jug to brew coffee. I used 2 cups of coffee (I like Peets Big Bang and it's pre-ground) and 6 cups of water. I brewed…
