The leather on this wallet matches my friend's $20,000 shoulder bag. As a longtime fan of Royce Leather, that didn't surprise me. The material is smooth and has the distinctive smell of real leather. The purse is made with great care. No misplaced seams and they all look like they will last a very, very long time. It satisfies my OCD. The external badge holder is great. I like the idea of not constantly pulling out your ID. It is clearly visible through the outer window. I also use this feature by folding in two $5 bills. (For quick access to tips.) There are 8 credit card slots inside. I use them all except for one that holds a couple of my business cards. It also comes with multiple inserts. I personally don't see myself using it. However, it can serve as a place for small receipts or even folded bills. The main compartment is lined with black satin material like the rest of the wallet. I like it. I have no problem putting about 20 bills in it. Very spacious. This is a great gift for men of all ages. For the price, this is definitely a great deal from Royce.
