There is a lot here.

Fully immersed in the world of "Creators”, now armed with a 3D printer, I decided to start 4 more projects with my Raspberry Pi. There are many here. Start with fun little projects. There is a download (map with address included) that has a .pdf and a few word files with instructions etc. There is actually a LOT to read here, so I recommend doing it. I would post a link here for interested people to access, but I'm not sure if I can post links here. I took out most of the parts that the breadboards were attached to and checked most of the solder. I wasn't "amazed" at the soldering, but it wasn't that bad. The main things I look for are broken solder joints, solder pads, failed SMT components, and seated components that are fully seated and properly aligned. There were a few pads that could have used a little more solder, but not a single "critic", just a few "Hershey kisses" here and there. But nothing that would make me repeat anything. So pretty average and acceptable. This is the same electronics kit as the Pi kit as it has many separate parts and parts. I'd like to see a transformer and a few more diodes (enough to at least build a full wave bridge rectifier) and that might be a way to start with the electronics as well. I have been repairing electronics for about 30 years so I have a lot to offer here. A solar panel would also work. Notes only. It looks like you get a lot for your money here. I like it.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others
