Review on 🎭 SGT KNOTS Unglazed Cotton Tie Line - Versatile Polyester Core for Theatrical, Decor, and Commercial Applications (1/8" x 100ft, Black) by Jeremy Bradford

Disclaimer: I've never used cotton rope so I don't know what it usually looks like. But I have a feeling that this rope is damaged. Every few feet there are little loops of polyester core sticking out through the cotton cover and I'm concerned that these little loops could catch on things, snap and break the whole rope. Unfortunately I didn't notice the problem until I trimmed the bunch, so I can't return it. I just have to use it and hope it works. If you do risk buying it, roll up a few cuts and carefully inspect before cutting.
