🎭 SGT KNOTS Unglazed Cotton Tie Line - Versatile Polyester Core for Theatrical, Decor, and Commercial Applications (1/8" x 100ft, Black) Review

Theater cable is ideal for home, office and theatre. In 2 days SGT KNOT had a 300ft roll in my hands. I use it to tie spools of extension cords, hang decorations (the flat black texture is especially useful for Halloween decorations), tie parts of buildings together, etc.

Would buy it 100 times and will continue to do so for my stock. The product is of excellent quality and much cheaper than other stores. This product is almost if not better than other expensive items I have purchased and is not a cheap fake. Anyone working in theater and production should be very pleased with this line of quality connections.

This tie is as good as other ties I have used. It is strong enough for typical applications such as tying cables and lighting decorations to rails. I didn't have a chance to test it under full load. It is easy to knit and has good flexibility. It's not too harsh like some strings and doesn't snap on the cut ends. I will definitely buy this product again next time I need to restock.

Disclaimer: I've never used cotton rope so I don't know what it usually looks like. But I have a feeling that this rope is damaged. Every few feet there are little loops of polyester core sticking out through the cotton cover and I'm concerned that these little loops could catch on things, snap and break the whole rope. We use this yarn for everything. We keep the tarp tied to the side. Cables and extensions are short, so we store them carefully. I use black so it doesn't show up at weddings, big parties, etc. Durability is great for the size. I use a double wrap safety line for our lights which can weigh 1-3 lbs. I bought this item to use as a face mask strap during the elastic shortage. That's not what the product was designed for, so I can't fault them for being a bad choice. The product itself is very durable and you get what you pay for. I highly recommend that you burn or shrink the ends once you cut them as they will unravel quickly.
