My 3 zone Senville unit arrived via freight carrier. Looked like the pallet was ran into with something so I had to open the main unit and inspect. There was some minor damage, one of the mounting legs was crushed a bit, but other than that all seemed intact.Installation was pretty straightforward if you are handy. No need for an HVAC person to do the main install. Electric disconnect switch was installed outside and the main unit mounted via special mini split mounting brackets lagged through the side of my 2 story barn that was getting this upgrade. After lines were connected, pressure tested and vacuum performed, the pre-charged refrigerant was let into the lines and the unit turned on. Took about 1 minute or so for the main unit to kick on for the first time, assumably needed some time to get the freon distributed? Its been up and running for a bout a week now. All seems good!Indoor units are extremely quiet, nice flow of heat coming out without causing any air drafts. Feels great.Outdoor unit does make a bit of noise as anyone would expect. Makes a slight rattling but I found nothing loose, must be the compressor sounds.Overall I am very pleased. i will likely purchase a single zone unit to install in my house garage to keep it comfortable.
