So this product seems strong enough and it works great for what I need it for, but the most noticeable issue is that the dial tells you what heat level You have set to drawn. Levels are listed from Max, then 8-1. Basically, you turn it clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to decrease it, but the numbers are written counterclockwise on the dial. This means that you max it out by moving clockwise and then rotating the other way. The next setting on the dial is a space, followed by 1, 2, 3, 4, and then stops at 5. When using this, start with the lowest setting and slowly go up by turning clockwise. Keep in mind that unless you print your own decal or paint over the dial surface and paint your own indicator, you won't have a functional visual indicator of where the temperature is set. Just remember to note which direction the heat is increasing and which decreasing. Otherwise it can end badly with delicate work.
