A gross 2.4 GHz of processing power. Dropped connection in Hong Kong. Each sixth one has a lag time of 3-10 seconds. Neither playing games nor surfing the web will be sufficient. Eventually, I replaced my 256-Mb/s router with a 1128-Mb/s model. The addition of 5 GHz has made it much better. YET the issues persisted. Even after installing the recommended third-party drivers, the issue persisted. The card fails to detect the 5GHz network sometimes for unknown reasons. In the reviews, I noticed mention of a problem with channels above 50 on the router. manually exposed in the controls. The network can now be accessed at any time. I would not suggest purchasing. I'm debating whether or not to get a warranty replacement.
