I should have bought these a few months ago when the cheap original plastic screws that came with my toilet seat started to loosen. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from them as every other set of toilet seat screws I've ever used looks completely different from these. I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier they are to install and how sturdy they are! To assemble, I just put a tiny drop of oil (any lubricant I'm sure will do) on the rounded rubber part, pushed the screw into the seat/toilet and screwed it in. I liked not having to crawl under the toilet to hold on to anything. It's been a few weeks and I haven't had to tighten anything and the seat stays in place. I cannot recommend them enough.
