I love that the red balls can be removed or repositioned to better target specific tight muscle areas. I appreciate that it's shorter so I can pack it for travel. The red balls are firm enough to relax tight muscles on the sides of the leg due to sciatica. They can also be removed completely to act as foot massage balls. The price is great too, half of what I paid for the Addaday massage roller. My only wish is for the red balls to have a slightly higher crest or bumpy area to help hit a more specific area on the sides of my thighs, but I don't want spikes because they hurt. Otherwise very good product and packaging. Please note the instructions are in Japanese but the instructions on the pictures were helpful.
