Citric acid is extremely versatile - use it for food, cheaper citric acid for cleaning
Citric acid is kind of a miracle product as it has many different uses from eating to food preservation, cleaning, crafts and many other things. In fact, we've been using citric acid to maintain our dishwashers for many years. This really helps avoid uncomfortable build-ups. I would not use this citric acid for this purpose as it is more expensive and food safe. You can get big packs of citric acid for less than this. You really shouldn't consume large amounts of acid, even if it's a relatively weak acid. In any case, citric acid is one of those things that should not be missing in any household due to its versatility.
