Purchased this car cover in August 2020. After a year of inactivity on my car it has been tightened up decently. I live in a fairly dry climate with hot and dusty summers. When it rains, a lot of dirt is left on the car. I call it dirty rain in Colorado. Unfortunately, this dirt and dust gets sucked into this car cover and when I take it off my car is very dusty. I also washed this car cover in the washing machine and still the dust gets in. It has a small tear on the first layer on the front and I really feel like it's reached its limit and it's time to buy another one. So yes, this car cover basically lasts 1 year if left outside in inclement weather. Maybe 5 years in your garage. 1 summer of dusty rain and quite a bit of toast. Is it worth $100? The fit is great for my Z, but other than that I wouldn't recommend it. It's more of a dirt sponge than something that holds dirt.
