I love this set! I was special with my brushes. I didn't even look for a brush myself. I was looking for a good comb for my daughter. We're trying to be a little more conscious of the products we own and our footprint. I just don't want to own a bunch of extra stuff, and that extra stuff contains a lot of unnecessary plastic. I'll admit I'm torn into extra pieces, but using those little additions? I personally didn't think I would need a brush with a comb, but the difference in my daughter's part is much cleaner than just using my fingers like I did since she had enough hair. Mascara can be used to get rid of small, thin, flyaways in your hair. We've found it works best for keeping our brushes clean in the hard-to-reach areas around the bristles. One brush for my 5 year old daughter and one brush for me. We both have long hair and these bamboo brushes are heavy but not too heavy. The pillows are great for gently combing my daughter's head and are strong enough to take care of tangles. The engraving on the back is elegant and smooth. It doesn't stick to our hair. You can store your brushes in a canvas pouch, although it's best to store them with opposite ends. The bag has a good closure and the presentation of the whole package was great. I'm pretty confident in recommending this product. It has become part of our daily products.
