Review on 🌬️ Friedrich Uni-Fit UCT10A10A In-Wall Air Conditioner, 9,800 BTU, 115V, ENERGY STAR by Zach Sornsin

Bought to replace an old Friedrich air conditioner. The old block lasted 25 years of intensive use. I was impressed with the old block so I decided to replace it with another Friedrich. BIG MISTAKE. The thermostat on the new block is terrible. The temperature range is about 8 degrees. Set it to 74 degrees and it will stay on until the temp hits 69. The device will then turn off until the temperature reaches 78 or higher. I tried contacting them through their support site. I got a confirmation after submitting a support ticket and then TOTAL SILENCE. They don't even bother to answer. So when I needed to install 3 wall units in a rental space, I made sure the contractor didn't use Friedrich. We used a different brand and they worked great. BUT NOT FRIEDRICH AC.
