The description lists this unit as a replacement for a 1004 filament bulb, but I see that the name doesn't include 1004. At first I was concerned because these LEDs are longer than the 1004 filament bulb which I replace However, there is enough space in the lights on my boat for these LED bulbs, they give a lot of light (a little more than the 1004s) and the color is a little whiter than the 1004s (I think that's a plus. I think the color of the light is perfect) The bulbs seem to be well made and packaged. It took a few weeks to get here because they were shipped from China, but it wasn't a problem for me. I'm very satisfied. ( Note: Be sure to install the lamps with the correct polarity; if the lamp does not work, rotate the lamp 180° and install again; the positive and negative pins must be correct, or the Eq bulb does not work. Unlike an incandescent bulb, which works both ways.)
