I used a pair of three-outlet surge protectors in my house. They were fine except the two LEDs on them were too bright for my bedroom. I was fed up with light pollution and wanted to darken my room, so I looked for non-LED surge protectors. Little did I know that the vast majority of such devices have one or more LEDs. Then I found this one! I don't need 6 outlets, but it's nice to have some flexibility as I often have power adapters plugged in and they often kill more than the one outlet they're plugged into.
