No surge protector

Not sure why this is labeled as a surge protector. It doesn't have a reset switch, and the other day when I was using too many things, I still blew the fuse. I'm sure I could have paid less just to get more outlets.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not bad

Great splitter solution

This was exactly what I was looking for! The bottom outlet doesn't work no matter how many people fix it, so it was a fantastic fix for an outlet that couldn't really be used anymore. I ordered two and I wish I had ordered four.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Took 4 months. disposable product.

This is a disposable surge protector. No reset. If it works, it's garbage. The sensor must have a trigger. No other devices in the circuit worked. There was a minimal load on this device, an 8-port switch and an LCD monitor. The outlet it was plugged into works fine. Spring.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The sockets are too small for my devices.

First there is a warning that the device will stop working/expiring after a period of time. Not sure if the power just cuts off or if the surge protector cuts out. The 6 sockets are too close together making it impossible for all but the smallest plugs to use all 6 without adding some sort of extension cord or adapter.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great product but check the size

Love it, great USB ports and love the night light feature. My only complaint is that I use it on my kitchen counter which is a four socket dual plug. Unfortunately, this covers them all and only has three traditional plugins. this is intended for use in the one-socket area (2 sockets). Keep this in mind when ordering for a specific location.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Falls out of the socket

I bought two of these and forgot the first one didn't work. At the moment I have two light plugs in my sockets, they just fall out far enough to break the connection. These types of multi-plug products have historically always had a support rod that fits into the wall outlet. I have to wonder if it really protects against surges? I won't use it as it may not be safe. Thanks again China for the crappy products.

Pros
  • Line filter
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Excellent Simple Multi-Outlet Surge Protector

I used a pair of three-outlet surge protectors in my house. They were fine except the two LEDs on them were too bright for my bedroom. I was fed up with light pollution and wanted to darken my room, so I looked for non-LED surge protectors. Little did I know that the vast majority of such devices have one or more LEDs. Then I found this one! I don't need 6 outlets, but it's nice to have some flexibility as I often have power adapters plugged in and they often kill more than the one outlet…

Pros
  • Accessories and Supplies
Cons
  • No Instructions

Good product!

Could be thinner but doesn't stick out further than the cable. It is also nice that there is nothing on the floor, which makes cleaning easier. Haven't used it for travel yet, but that would be great. I wanted surge protection for my devices at home. I bought 4 but need to order more. Until it wears out a little, it's difficult to turn it off - you need both hands, one to hold the surge protector and the other to turn it off. If you have a heavy object (an electric shaver), the weight may cause

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
