I would recommend using soap and water when installing the pucks in the screen. All four washers created a tiny, hair-thin crack that I didn't even notice until I got on the bike. Be very careful using them like I did and they still cracked the windshield. Cracks are not visible at first glance and do not affect the function. The windshield held up well under 90+ mph. Not much of a game changer but does the job well for less than $50.
