Review on 🏠 BAZZ MTSWFW1 Smart Home Wi-Fi Motion Sensor with Battery, Hubless Design by Marquel Floyd

I was hoping to use this to track when I get emails by watching movement in the mailbox. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment building and the post office is far from where I live (which is why I primarily want to receive email notifications). However, there is WiFi in the post office. When I saw that this motion sensor uses Wi-Fi and supports IFTTT, I was hoping to set it up and have it communicate with my smart home via IFTTT to indicate when I had mail. Unfortunately, even after setup, the BAZZ motion sensor /needs to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your phone. I don't really understand why as it's basically pointless. This is marketed as a security device, but a security device that doesn't work when you're not home is basically useless. I wouldn't buy this unless you are really sure it will only work when you are at home.
