Well these were shocked. I bought two different colors for my mid-century living room. It's not "velvet" by any means, it's a terrible polyester. The description says they are soft but they are very rough. So strange. The description says it is "covered" in burlap, which is completely wrong. The edges are just topstitched like a regular straightedge, no double edge like a good pillow, but that's not what you'd expect at this price point anyway. But the sliding seam with burlap like you see in the barn was so weird. I'll try to use a seam ripper to try and get it off. That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. It's not worth getting them back. So my plan is this: I'm going to wash them in hot water to try to loosen the texture of the polyester and use a seam ripper to get rid of that sticky thread. If things don't look better, they go to the dog. 2 stars for correct color and zipper.
