The temperature where I live is pretty constant, somewhere between 40°-65°. However, our winters have become quite cold lately, sometimes up to 25° with heavy rain. Unfortunately, we also have quite a lot of homeless people. It is not uncommon to see someone sleeping on a bench, on the ground, under bushes, etc. There is a woman who sleeps on the same bench almost every night, wrapped in blankets. She's out there, outside, every day, even in the rain. One day I drove by her on my way to work and her ceiling was literally covered in frost. Frost, on the person. These blankets are so cheap that I buy them to give to homeless people who look like they need to be warmed/dryed. They're small enough to carry in a pocket, have many different uses, and I buy camouflage so they can be used a bit discreetly - I hope someone can sleep better at night thanks to them.
