Pickles to Penguins is not a polite game. It is a quick-thinking picture-linking card game made for competitive people. Get rid of your cards the quickest by figuring out what your cards and the cards in play have in common. Exercise your Lateral thinking abilities, but dont be too hasty or you may have to pick up penalty cards for Stretching a connection too far. Hundreds of pictures, but how many can you link together. For 2 or More Players, Ages 8 and Up.

Almost 7 year old loves it

Travel friendly; found on a trip. A child of almost seven is obsessed with it. Great find, perfect condition, fast delivery, will definitely order from this seller again. Many Thanks.

All ages = all fun!

We loved this game because all ages (from 4 to 60+) always had fun! The cards have pictures on both sides, so even our non-shuffler was successful. Many strange couples followed us.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not the best

What a great treat for high school students

I received advice on using these cards with graduate students trying to make analytical connections between things/concepts. What great fun for high school students.

Pros
  • High scores for support and durability from testers

Many game options

Instructions for various games are included with the game. My granddaughter and I changed the directions to make it easier for her. The images are bright and colorful. I like the game, but rarely does anyone want to play games, so I try to put together solitaire. Perhaps the manufacturer could include it in a future print.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • High price

Great concept but kids try too hard and start making things up.

In theory I like this game and even had a few successful rounds with my son and nieces (9, 10, 11 years old). But my god. Some of the comparisons they came up with just to get rid of their cards were crazy. So crazy that I could hardly think of one of my own because I spent so much time telling them their comparisons are wrong. Maybe after a few more rounds where EVERYONE, not just me, helps to follow the comparisons, it will be fun and not a chore for me.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Only available in black

Why use it for its intended purpose?

The deck contains rules for various games, most of which are not very exciting. But I've found these cards to be great for making games or as flashcards for young children. The fun pictures and colors are a great learning tool. I also found it a lot more fun to turn this game into a storytelling game by shuffling the deck and flipping the card. One person should start the story with what is on the card and stop at one point in the story, then pass the new card to the next person and they should

Funniest thing we had aged

I have teenagers. Enough said. Getting them to play games, let alone enjoy the game, is next to impossible. We were taking a short trip and I booked this on a whim as I was looking for something my 14 year old with autism could easily get involved in. Little did I know it would be my other two teenagers playing it for over an hour. They love to tease and get on each other's nerves and this game nailed it. We all laughed so hard, my daughter cried and I had to 'pause' the game so we could all…

  • Easy to use
