At first glance this refurbished Pixel 2XL from MobiSpree was like new and looked brand new. There weren't any scratches or smudges on the back, and the screen looked pristine to begin with. Upon closer inspection, there were 2 or 3 SMALL surface scratches on the screen that were barely noticeable when the screen was off and completely invisible when the screen was on. The speaker grilles (both) were quite dirty, like a construction worker had had this phone in a very dusty environment for a day or two, but it didn't affect the phone's performance in any way and I was actually able to clean it. a little bit alone The phone itself is PERFECT in everything else and in operation. The battery lasts all day and even then with average use. There have been a few times where I used my phone less that day and around 7 or 8pm I check my phone and it's still at 60 or 70% (and it gets up and takes it off the charger at 5am ). There are ZERO functional issues with this phone and I would happily buy it again. Luckily I don't think I'll need it as I'm sure this thing will last a few years! The ONLY issue isn't a repair or seller issue, it's a Pixel 2XL issue and I thought I shed some light on this. That. The bottom speaker sounded muffled/metallic and would roll over at over 50% volume, especially after 75%. I contacted MobiSpree and they were more than willing to refund my money (great service!) but I did a little research and found that this appeared to be the result of a loose speaker grille and is very common with Pixel 2XL units. Following the instructions on another website, I took a store bonus card (a hard but pliable plastic) and used the corner of it to gently press the grid down from the center to each edge (be careful not to press TOO hard while I you will hear the popping and it is actually breaking the waterproofing so don't do it). I did this 2 or 3 times and it completely solved my problem. Now I can turn my phone on at 100% volume and it sounds way better than my last phone at max volume. Overall a great purchase and great seller at MobiSpree!
