More accurate than most, easy to use

As a metrologist pointed out in another review, it's important to distinguish the difference between the numbers on a display, often referred to as "resolution", from repeatability ; and finally each of these factors depends on accuracy. This device is much better in practical use than most mechanical devices such as B. the venerable Shure probe dynamometer, and according to the main design feature of this device, it is much easier to measure. with the correct vertical position of the tonearm. Regarding Resolution vs. Repeatability vs. Accuracy: The quoted are two and a half digits of the display resolution, which means the last digit is either 0 or 5. Now, the reproducibility of the ITO device varied by about plus or minus a hundredth place when measured with a perturbed load placement 5 g, although I did not extra calculate the deviation. So the accuracy couldn't be better as each "bias" is added to mean "accuracy". Assuming the 5g weight for the standard is accurate, the calibration was within 0.005g between the original and the recalibration. So we can say that my sample is most likely +/- 0.015g accurate, that even you can make that estimate is much higher than most devices in this price range, meaning it's more than good is. And very convenient to use as intended. The documentation is long and confusing for notes; There should indeed be a "quick start" sheet and a condensed version of the text provided. But then again, excess is better than lack of detail, and thanks to the manufacturers and marketers for that.
