I didn't know my car had a cabin air filter. I saw this when I was looking for a new engine air filter. It was very cheap and my car is 12 years old and I assumed it was probably never changed. The instructions in the description said it was easy to replace, just behind the glove box. Exactly! I spent more time fixing my glove box than replacing it. Steps: 1) Open the glove box 2) Press the left and right tabs on the top rear of the glove box door 3) Disconnect the spring clip on the right side (mine just pushes down and looks like the same clip is on my sun visor (just a smaller one) ) 4) Slowly lower the door and watch the entire contents fall to the floor :(5) Press the 2 tabs on the left and right of the air filter cartridge drawer. 6) Pull out the filter drawer, being careful not to knock it over (mine was full of dry brown leaves). 7) Stand over the trash can and rotate the filter drawer to see how it's held in place. 8) Get a new filter and open it. Align it to fit snugly in the new slot after removing the old filter9) Insert the new filter, making sure to place the filter on the retaining tabs (just like the old one) so no Air can bypass the filter10) Reinstall it upside down Order (Steps of 8 1) The whole process took less than 2 minutes
