I have 3 dog beds that are the same size as this bed. 2 need to photograph the size difference over time, the blue bed below is the size this bed should be, the plaid bed that fits perfectly is the size this bed happened to be. It makes a big difference for you if you bought it for a 50# dog that will be on the bottom bunk but only for a 20# dog on the top bunk. The bed was cute, seemed solid, I looked at it for 5 minutes and sent it back. If you have a cat or small dog this should be perfect, medium dogs 30-60# will not fit. 2 looks good and feels cool at first, but is disappointed with the size.
