Bought two, one died six months later. 90 day guarantee is not enough

I liked the features of this product; Surge protection, five 110-volt grounded outlets and two USB ports; a type A and a type 3. It was hooked up to a filter coffee maker and a 1800w induction cooker. It was working great until this happened. On the back, in barely legible small print, it says that it must be replaced if the power is cut off by an overvoltage. No reset button and tamper-proof screws hold everything together.
