This is a beautiful, unique craft kit for children. I love that it uses dots and color as its medium, which makes it stand out from regular crayons, colored pencils, and markers. The set contains 6 different projects as well as acrylic paints and brushes. You also get two frames and sticky foam tabs for hanging your finished pieces. The animal design is very cute and definitely suitable for kids of any gender. My granddaughter loved to draw animals. It was easy for her to paint with dot painting and this gave her confidence and pride that she could successfully create her own painting. She's a bit older, so we didn't have to help her with the project. However, doing this for younger children will likely require adult intervention, especially as the paints are acrylics and will stain clothing and other items if not handled properly. One of the best things about this set is the price. It's fairly affordable and makes a great gift too. 5 Stars.
