The picture quality is excellent, using the dash cam is quite easy and overall I'm very happy with it (especially for the price! two minor issues (below) given the price of this system ). I connected the app to my phone and now I can see the house when I'm not there. Customer service is top notch. I had the hiccups, my own fault, and they emailed me quickly to sort me out. I sent photos of my questions, they sent answers. Made me work fast! Installation: Simple for the most part, except that the camera assembly has rotation issues. There are two screws that hold the barrel in place and prevent the angle of view from being easily adjusted after installation (see image). But loosen those screws and turn the barrel, retighten and it really works; it's just not just at the top of the stairs. Cables: The length of the cables was great - I had no problem getting them anywhere I needed them. But the cable connectors have different lengths (see picture). A little OCD, sure, but try putting them in duct tape or outer tape and you'll have a chunk.
