Review on Organize Your Vinyl Collection in Style with the Victrola Wooden Record Crate, Black (VA-20-BLK) by Antonio Urbina

After ordering many, many items from Revain this was my first return. I ordered a record box for my daughter. She was thrilled as it was available in white. The color is not "Chinese white" but slightly whitish. The first came with a crack running through the entire handle. It may have happened upon delivery, but the box showed no signs of damage. I wanted to see the final product so I tried to assemble it but the slots didn't fit. It was impossible to pick it up. I decided to return it and hope to order a replacement. The second arrived undamaged but had the same slot mismatch issue. With a lot of effort I was able to snap the pieces together to get started, but it was very tight. Since the last page was almost in place, it broke at the bottom because the slots didn't line up properly. I think that even with proper design/manufacture it's unlikely to survive a full shot. They're nothing but old melon crates from the past. As a place to store your records next to a turntable this might be fine, but for travel I don't think it will last long. Light wood walls with 3/8" slots and 1/8" pressed board floor. As the last page was slid into place, the bottom panel slid into its slot, making it almost impossible to take apart. I'm afraid I might spoil the whole thing by trying to lie to him (and not getting him back). I will leave this one with a small crack but not really happy with it. I do not recommend this product.
